PokerDominator.com FAQ.
| How much does Session Tracking cost? |
NOTHING. Session Tracking, just like all other tools on this site, is FREE. "WHAT'S THE CATCH?" you ask....well....the caveat to this is that we still have to pay for server/bandwidth/storage space/etc., so we simply ask you to click on our sponsor ads and register with the selected site if you are interested in playing online poker...or if you have been playing at one site and would like to take advantage of another site's sign-up bonus, please go to our Poker Room Reviews.
|
| What is Session Tracking? |
Session Tracking provides you with the ability to track your poker sessions with great detail. Session tracking then provides useful statistics and graphs to help you analyze your poker career. We provide customizable graphs, customizable session criteria (location played, game played, betting limits, game structure, opponent levels), advanced session filtering, and the ability to edit and delete sessions and session criteria.
|
| Why should I use Session Tracking? |
IT'S FREE! We offer many features that our competitors do not offer. Customizable charts and customizable session criteria makes our product more user friendly. Our site layout lends itself to usablility. Tabbed browsing makes for easier navigation. We take all change requests into consideration....simply post a request to our support board, and we will attempt to work your request into the site. Obviously, we can't acquiesce to every request, but if it will benefit other users, we typically make the change.

| Why does it take so long for my chart to display? |
You can speed up the chart by switching the default chart type from FLASH to IMAGE. To do this, go to "My Info / Defaults" tab, under "Summary Defaults", find "Chart Format". Change it to Image....the charts will load much faster (though you may lose the mouse overs by switching to Image).
|
| Can I export my data from PokerDominator.com's Session Tracking? |
Of course. To export your data, go to the "Sessions" tab, then click the "Export Sessions" link at the top left. In the "Export Session" page, you can specify what fields are exported. Here is a list of fields you can export:

| Can I track my balance for a location? |
Yes. To create a balance:
Go to "My Info / Defaults", scroll down to "Manage Your Criteria". On the "Location" tab, you should see each of your available Locations. If you haven't entered a beginning balance for a location, you will see "Click here to create a beginning balance". Click there to create the beginning balance and beginning balance date and time.
Make sure you record the record the correct time and date....balance will be calculated from that date forward.

|
| Can I display summary/chart info for just two locations? |
Yes, our filters allow you to select more than one option when filtering. To do this in "Locations", first left click on the first location you want to include, then hold down the (control) key while you left click on the other location. You should notice that both locations are highlighted. You may continue to select more locations by holding down the key while left clicking other locations if you choose...there is no limit to how many you can include.
This also holds true for all of the other filter criteria(Games,Game Types,Structures,Limits,Play Levels)....you may select more than one at a time by using the key.
|
| Can I delete all of my sessions at once? |
No. But if you need to have them all deleted, you may send an email to support@pokerdominator.com that includes your login email address and we'll delete them for you.
|
| Can I import data? |
Yes, we have 3 sources for import data:
1) Our Excel template. You can find this in the "Import Data" tab. Follow the instructions on that page. We have people who record all of their sessions on the template, then upload the template when they want to see their statistics and charts in Session Tracking. Some people find it easier to record their data on the template because they can just copy their session rows down and just change the date/time, buy in and cash out.
2) Import .csv file export from PokerCharts. This can be done from the "Import Data" tab...Click on "Import Poker Charts Export" and follow the instructions. Please keep in mind that PokerCharts is attempting to discourage this, so they are changing the way they export data. If you receive an error when attempting to upload, please email your .csv file along with your login email address to support@pokerdominator.com and we will attempt to input the information for you.
3) Import your sessions from PokerTracker. This can be done from the "Import Data" tab...Click on "Import PokerTracker Session Export" and follow the instructions on the screen.

| Is there support for tournaments? |
YES. Definitely. We have a tournament section on the "Summary" tab, it looks like this:
Tournament Statistics field definitions:

| In "Add New Session", can I get rid of the exchange rate information? Cuz I don't use it. |
Yes. We understand that most of our users don't deal in more than one currency, so we added the ability to make it so the exchange rate information in "Add New Session" would disappear. Go to the "My Info / Defaults" tab....find the "Add New Session Defaults" section. Using the "Display Exch Rate Info?" option, you can select "No". This will block the currency exchange rate info from appearing on "Add New Session".
|
| Can I see my online play vs my B&M play on a chart? |
YES.
In "Advanced Charting", you can select 2 different filters to appear on a chart. Don't forget that you can select multiple criteria by holding down the key while selecting options.
To find "Advanced Charting", click on the "Summary" tab, scroll down to the chart...below the chart, you will see a link to "Advanced Charting".
|
| I play in multiple currencies, is this supported? |
