Import Data
You may import session data here. Rules for import: (these must be followed, or the import will fail)

  1. You must use our template: PokerDominator.com Session Template
  2. DO NOT make any changes to the first row of the template
  3. You must save the file as a .csv (Comma Delimited) file before uploading it.
  4. If you want data to match data already in PokerDominator, you must enter it EXACTLY as it appears in PokerDominator

  5. Select your .csv file, then click Import.

IMPORTANT: Duplicates and sessions missing required data will be skipped.

Import Help

Use our template found here: PokerDominator.com Session Template

Using the template:
  • DO NOT CHANGE THE FIRST ROW OF DATA. This row contains the header names that are required for importing.

  • Make sure you enter data for Location, Structure, and Game Played EXACTLY as it appears in PokerDominator.com. If you do not, new entries will be created (possibly giving you two Party Pokers...one that reads "Party Poker" and another that reads "PartyPoker"). Here is an example of how data should be entered in the spreadsheet:
  • Template Parameters:
Date_played(REQUIRED)enter the date and time your session started (ex. 3/1/2005 17:45)
Location(REQUIRED)enter the location of the session
    Ring_or_Trnyenter R for a Ring Game or enter T for a Tournament
Game_Played(REQUIRED)enter the game you were playing during your session (ex. Hold 'em)
Structure(REQUIRED)enter the betting structure (Fixed, No Limit, etc)
Limit(REQUIRED)enter the limit you were playing (ex. 1-2 or .50-1) or a phrase to discribe the limit (ex. Other) DO NOT INCLUDE DOLLAR SIGNS($).
Buy_In(REQUIRED)enter the total amount you bought into the session for. DO NOT INCLUDE DOLLAR SIGNS($).
Cash_Out(REQUIRED)enter the total amount you cashed out of the session with. DO NOT INCLUDE DOLLAR SIGNS($).
Hours_Playedenter the total hours played (ex 1 hour 15 minutes would be entered as 1.25, a 30 minuted session would be entered as 0.5). If you want to be exact about your minutes, you can divide the total number of minutes you played by 60 to get the number you should enter.
Opponentsenter the number of opponents for this session. For a tournament, enter the total number of tournament participants.
Placementif this session was a tournament, enter the place you finished. If it was a ring game, leave this field blank.
Notesenter any notes you have for the session. The ENTIRE note must be in this cell.

  • When entering Date and Time, you may enter it as it appears in the example above or like this: 3/1/05 17:45. They will produce the same results. DATE IS REQUIRED. Time is not actually required, but it is suggested that you enter it.

  • When entering limits, they must be entered as SmallBet-BigBet (ex 1-2). NO SPACES. Or, if you are using a term for the limit (ex Other), your entry must match PokerDominator.com's entry or a new limit entry will be created. Help with EXCEL: If you attempt to enter 1-2 in the spreadsheet and it changes the value to Jan 2(or something similar), first delete that cell, then RIGHT click on the cell or cell header(to select all cells in that column - suggested)...when the menu appears, select format cells, in the Numbers tab, click on Text, then click OK. Now when you enter 1-2, excel won't convert it to a date.

  • You MUST save the file as a .csv (Comma Delimited) file. To do this, once you have entered the data in the spreadsheet, click on File | Save As... Name the file whatever you like, but be sure to change the Save As Type to CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv). Here's an example:
